The Karabar Monaco looks great and could even pass for a Samsonite case although you’d be able to buy three of these for the price of one Samsonite.
The hard plastic shell has a corrugated surface which gives it its strength and is tough enough to protect fragile contents while still surprisingly lightweight. The extending handle slides and locks easily however a few buyers expressed concerns that it seemed a little flimsy and could be stronger. The spinner wheels are very smooth and the suitcase rolls well and it’s stable when standing upright. On board it fits really easily into the overhead bins.
It does hold a good amount of clothes but is not ideal for a 2-week holiday unless your super-efficient with your packing. It will work well for a weekend case, and you could maybe stretch that to a week at a push.
The Karabar Monaco remains one of the most popular choices for a cheap hard sided suitcase that is fully cabin approved.
Over all, the Karabar Monaco is a very good product at a great price and you can find out more about the cool looking Karabar Monaco here.
